And I’ll be back.

Anyone who’s looked at these pages recently knows that I haven’t been posting or even checking out my FB page for ages. There’s a reason for that, and it’s called a deadline: the due date for my third book is in December, and I’m writing furiously (but happily) every day in order to meet it. So, please accept my apologies in advance for taking days to return your email. I’m seriously curtailing my time spent on-line until the book is finished.

Brian and I just returned from a wonderful trip to Paris (actually we got back 3 weeks ago, but it seems like yesterday), and I have photos to post and stories to tell, but it will have to wait until after the first of the year. In January, I’ll happily return to the blogosphere, and I’ll write about Paris, Versailles, my research and my upcoming book.

You’d rather have a book than a blog, right?

I thought so.

My sincere thanks to everyone who has written to me over the past two years. I have really enjoyed hearing from you.
